Parish History
Saint Francis de Sales Catholic Church on Miami Beach was founded on June 4, 1964 by Bishop Coleman F. Carroll, the first Bishop of Miami. Our church was built in 1940, and was originally just a mission chapel; served by the priests of St. Patrick’s Church just three miles up the road.
